Best Western Atlantic Hotel

The staff seemed friendly enough, and breakfast was OK. Dinner was average and not expensive, though there seemed to be mild on the garnish at the side of my plate. The room itself was nice, but the plinth under the shower was missing. At night it was noisy, with people constantly coming and going or smoking outside the door. The hotel is arranged around that entrance and the car park, so it must affect a lot of rooms. The bed was big, but it was two singles strapped together, so I ended up stuck in the middle, and the pillows were hard. I wouldn't go back.

The breakfast really wasn't worth it. The bacon was uncooked, the eggs were dripping with grease, and the milk had been left out in the sun. The rooms looked nice, but they weren't very clean, and the bed was horrible, two mattresses pushed together to make a bigger one. It was really uncomfortable. The shower room was small and hadn't been cleaned, and I nearly slipped. I'd save the money and walk five minutes round the corner for a fast food breakfast. I wouldn't recommend eating breakfast here.

I've stayed here for work about two days a week over the past six months. The staff are really helpful and will do what they can. There are two types of rooms: the refurbished ones are good, while the rooms still waiting for refurbishment need work. Breakfast is fine, and the restaurant meals are decent. In general, the hotel is at a really good standard.
