We had such a lovely three-night stay and will definitely be back. The restaurant food was excellent, and the hotel welcomes dogs throughout, with plenty of green space around for walks. Our room had everything we needed, from a fridge and dressing gowns to really nice toiletries, and both the bedroom and bathroom felt luxurious. The setting is special too, with rooms around courtyards and well kept lawns and flower beds.

When I’m travelling around the East of England, this is the only place I stay. The rooms are huge and really comfortable, and the team are brilliant every time. There’s also a restaurant a short walk away if you fancy a drink and a meal. It’s a great place to unwind after a hard day. Love it here.

Parking is easy, and breakfast was great. The rooms are generally nice and well equipped, but you need to get the right one. Some are tiny, with showers that feel like they’re squeezed into a cupboard.

We stayed for one night and would definitely come back. Check-in was straightforward, there was lots of parking, and staff showed us to our building and room, Spindle. It was nicely decorated and had a well stocked little fridge, large TV, USB charging ports, ironing board and iron, hot drink facilities, and air conditioning. The bathroom was spacious, with a lovely rainfall shower. The hotel was easy enough to reach, although there was a lot of development near the entrance and we had to reroute. We ate at the onsite brasserie for dinner and the onsite coffee shop for breakfast, which I’ve reviewed separately.
