The Lion Inn

Steph made the evening run so smoothly. She was warm and professional, and kept the food coming without interrupting us. The rest of the team were great too. The food was hearty and the setting really beautiful. The room felt a bit cramped, though it worked fine for this meeting. Thanks again to Steph for making it such a lovely experience.

We'd driven past loads of times heading to see friends in Boreham, and finally stopped in. So glad we did, the meal was great and the whole visit felt welcoming. The place is open and nicely decorated, with a fire, good food and drinks, and attentive, friendly staff. Steph especially made us laugh and took good care of us. We'll be back. Thanks so much! Xx

The food was so good that I only wish I lived closer. I was here for work and had one of my best hotel stays. My ground-floor room was lovely, with courtyard access, and the facilities had everything I needed away from home. Everyone I met was helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Karen checked me in, showed me to my room, and looked after me throughout, always with a welcoming smile. Jenny was just as helpful during a private dining event, checking in often and making sure we had everything we needed. The staff really made the stay. I'd happily recommend the place and would definitely stay again.

Even during one of their busiest periods, the team at The Lion Inn made us feel welcome and looked after. They kept our water topped up, checked whether we wanted more drinks, and stayed friendly and professional throughout. We were celebrating my birthday and had brought a cake. The staff sorted out plates and made it easy for us to share it there, so we didn't have to worry about anything. That made the occasion feel especially memorable. The service was warm and thoughtful, and I'd happily recommend The Lion Inn. I'd love to visit again with a voucher.
