The bed was very comfortable, with fabulous, spotless pillows, and we enjoyed our stay overall. Jack at reception was helpful and accommodating when my daughter and I asked to change rooms. The first one had a very unpleasant odor, so he moved us to a lovely deluxe room. The hall and stairs were impressive, and the staff were brilliant. A few things need attention. The towels were thin and grey and definitely need replacing. There wasn't enough storage for two people, and no suitcase stand, so we had to put our cases on the windowsill. The bathroom handwash and lotion were provided, but the tops of the pump dispensers were very dirty. The shower tray was quite high, and needed a handle to help step down. A few tweaks would improve the comfort.

The staff were genuinely welcoming and seemed keen to help me enjoy my stay. The building has lots of impressive, stunning features, though my room could have used some TLC. I still liked the place overall, and suspect one of the nicer rooms would be a real treat. I'm returning today, Fri13thFeb, with my wife and friends, so I'll update the review after that.

The hotel has kept its Regency-style feel, and that's what makes it special to me. Some people may find the corridors creaky or the decor 'classic', but I liked that it felt quirky and unique. Room 223 was especially excellent, spacious, and beautifully decorated. It's in a prime location, and the reception, restaurant staff, and room service were all excellent. Staying here is an experience in itself, and I wouldn't choose anywhere else next time I visit Cheltenham. My husband, our 3yo son, and I had a wonderful stay. Natasha was especially lovely to us.

We had 40 people for my birthday party and celebration dinner in the Regency Suite at the Queens Hotel on Saturday 29th November. The hotel supported us so well before and during the event. The room was beautifully arranged, the food was excellent, and the service impeccable. Some of us stayed overnight and had a lovely breakfast together the next morning. I thoroughly recommend the Queens Hotel for a celebration like this. Special mention to Norm, who is a diamond.

We stayed for one night while visiting Cheltenham with friends. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is ideally placed for walking down to the high street shopping, with plenty of bars and restaurants close by.
