Hundith Hill Hotel

We stopped for one night after a Christmas party. The room was very comfortable and the evening meal was good, though it could have done with a few extras, like crackers, coffee and petit fours. Breakfast was okay. Good value overall.

Our family room at Hundith Hill hotel was spacious and had a balcony. There’s a farm nearby, and the kids loved waking up to the view of nature and animals. We had breakfast at the hotel and really enjoyed it.

I can’t believe how I was treated this afternoon. I was at a wedding and asked why milk had been put on our table while dessert was being served. A woman came over, pointed at me and shouted, saying she was the manager and that I’d upset the waitress. I’d only asked a question, and it left me really upset. I asked to speak to the hotel manager, but since she was pointing at me, I told her I was already talking to her. Hundith Hill seems to have no idea about customer service and is run by immature people.

We booked two nights but checked out after one. Our courtyard room was tired and scruffy, and the breakfast dining room felt soulless, with no view except the car park. Another scruffy family member served us. The owner, who runs the place with his family, preferred to sit at the bar talking to his cronies, blocking it off from guests. That felt very unprofessional. They need Alex polizzi to come in and shake them out of their stupor.
