Just two weeks before our London holiday, the hotel told us the room we’d booked months earlier was unavailable because of renovations. They offered no alternative, yet the same room still appeared available on Booking.com. That’s unacceptable and feels completely unprofessional and unethical. It looks like they canceled our reservation to resell the room at a higher price, though that’s only what I can infer from what happened. Our vacation has been ruined. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Beware, they’re scammers.
