The bed was extremely comfortable, and all the facilities were good. We had a free upgrade to a huge room, and the staff had left balloons and chocolate for my partner’s birthday, a lovely gesture. After checkout, they let us leave our bags there while we explored Cheltenham. We were only there one night, but it was a stylish hotel with friendly staff and a great place to stay.

We had a great stay, just a five-minute walk from the centre. The room was enormous, and the wet room was equally impressive. The breakfast space was delightful and quirky, and the full English was exceptional. Lovely hotel.

Ben and the team made us feel very welcome at The George for our Saturday night stay with our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. We didn’t get to meet Ben’s spaniel Autumn, but we’ll be back and might meet then. The location is excellent and the room was lovely. Parking at the hotel could be difficult, though there’s a pay car park very close by. We skipped breakfast, but everything else was good enough that I’d expect it to be amazing. I’d recommend booking directly with the hotel: it’s better for them and gets you a later checkout. Looking forward to coming back soon.

The staff were so lovely, helpful and kind, and even arranged a surprise for our anniversary. The room was clean and well organized, and the hotel is cozy and close to the city centre, making it convenient to get around. We’ll definitely come back next time we visit this beautiful city.

The room was a little small, but we’d booked the standard one at the last minute on the day. It was clean and comfortable, with nice extras like biscuits or fruit on arrival, toiletries, and a coffee machine with pods. The staff were friendly and happy to help with anything. A fantastic hotel, close to town, and I’d highly recommend it.
