More than two months in, I’ve only had one keyword session, though they’re quick to ask about rent and give warnings. The tumble dryer still doesn’t work, and the kitchen has no basics at all, not even a teaspoon or a plate. They didn’t mention that beforehand. Fingers crossed they get around to fixing things soon 🤞🏻

There’s plenty of support available from the staff for all sorts of things in life, if you need it. They provide housing for people who are homeless and help them move on to their next home. It’s a brilliant place to connect with if you’re ready to accept help and put effort into sorting out your problems. That willingness has to come from you, though.

It’s cheap and clean, and you can cook for yourself if you want. If you’re arriving with a group of cyclists, give them a heads-up so they can arrange somewhere to store the bikes. Vinnies eateries is really close by and does great vegetarian food, while Moon under water has inexpensive drinks and a lovely park view.

I stayed there for a year. With the right attitude, it’s a good place, and better than NCP Car park 👍
