We only booked one night, which was our mistake. This lovely place is tucked away in the Sussex countryside and woods, and the studio is spacious with great decor, a big comfortable bed, and such quiet surroundings that we slept really well. The hosts had put everything for a full English in the fridge, which we cooked ourselves and ate at the garden table with their very well-behaved dog. There's also a coffee table by the entrance with walking maps and guidebooks for the area. Super recommended.

A really lovely escape, with a comfortable bed, a well stocked fridge, and beautiful grounds on a distinctive, picturesque property. The room was lovely, the hosts were welcoming, and the service was impeccable. We'll definitely come back soon.

Once we found the place, getting a little lost on the way seemed worth it. It's a great spot to switch off, and Ashdown forest is less than a five-minute walk away, with miles to explore. I loved my stay; the only downside was finding it the first time.

The place was very small. I came to relax, get some food, and watch a film, but the TV wouldn't work. I called the landlord, who tried to fix it but didn't seem to know what to do, so we agreed to use the DVD player. Then the TV switched off and told us to retune the channels. I called again and knocked on the door, but got no answer, even though the lights were on and the dog was barking. After an hour and 20 minutes, we left. A rude message arrived late that night. I wouldn't recommend this place at all.

The view is absolutely stunning, and the location right on the forest is great. The hosts were warm and welcoming too.
