The food was packed with flavour, and we definitely ate too much at the curry buffet. It was far from the usual tired buffet food, everything was top class and so, so good. It was our first dinner there last night, but it won't be our last. The staff were astounding, always polite and accommodating, serving everything with a genuine, warm smile. They made us feel comfortable and at home. I can't praise their down-to-earth customer service enough. Thanks for such a wonderful experience, we'll be back!

The room was roomy enough to move around in, not at all like a hamster den, and the bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and beautifully presented too. A quaint little hotel in a lovely location, and we really enjoyed our stay.

We slept well and the accommodation was comfortable, but the stay felt quite impersonal since all we got were emailed instructions. There weren't proper directions for using the equipment, and the restaurant was closed despite being listed as open. The place looked well presented, though it was only basically clean, and I found dirt on the table. The sink tap was loose and the plug didn't work properly. Overall, not bad.

It's a family-run Sri Lankan place with a lovely atmosphere, good service and fair prices. The food is delicious, from cabbage with coconut and chickpeas to the smoked mackerel tart starter. They serve a la carte Tuesday to Thursday, then a buffet on Friday and Saturday, and all of it is excellent.

The owner made everything easy, was really helpful, and nothing seemed like a problem. I enjoyed my stay in the guesthouse, and the buffet was fresh and tasty, one of the best I've had. Highly recommend.
