Premier Inn Chesterfield West

The place has the feel of an old country hotel and pub that's been turned into a chain hotel, but it still feels like the countryside. We had a lovely stay, with clean rooms and friendly staff. Breakfast at the Beefeater next door was nice. Cat was lovely at check-in, and Rob gave us good ideas for things to do the following morning. We'll definitely return. Ask for a room with a view if one is available.

The room looked lovely and was clean, warm and quiet, with plenty of tea and coffee. From it, I could see the countryside and sheep in the fields behind the building. The receptionist gave me a warm welcome, checked me in efficiently and showed me to the room. We were there for two nights, 6th to 8th October. I also booked the meal deal at the Highwayman Beefeater Restaurant next door, and it was superb. Parking was excellent, and the stay was outstanding value. I'd definitely recommend it and return. The receptionist was very welcoming and polite, and breakfast is always really nice. The room was a standard Premier Inn one with a comfortable bed, but there wasn't a comfortable chair, so relaxing meant lying on the bed. There's no lift, and as usual the heating doesn't work. It was good that they'd put a radiator in the room.

We had a wonderful stay for a 22nd birthday. The room was beautiful and the view even better, and they left a card and some drinks for the birthday too. All the staff were friendly and accommodating. The location worked perfectly for us, close to most of the places we went, with a bus stopping right outside.
