Marlin Apartments Limehouse

We spent five nights here, and the spacious room worked well for the three of us. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was especially handy since we were moving on to another location. Early check-in helped after our flight from the USA, and the woman at the desk was helpful. The maintenance men around the building were friendly, and the area was quiet. There are buses right outside, a DLR station a short walk away, nearby bakeries and cafes, and two grocery stores within walking distance. A few things could've been better. There were no tissues or paper towels, and our pedestal fan didn't work. We asked the front desk to replace it, but the man never did. One man who checked me in separately from the rest of my party seemed annoyed and wasn't very friendly. The bathtub and shower were high and slippery, a challenge for older family members. I also emailed about early check-in and was told there were no notes on my booking. I think I may have contacted a different location with the same name. Still, it had what we needed, and I'd recommend it for stays of more than a few days because of the amenities.

The 24-hour service and comfortable beds were great, and we really liked the local feel. It's a lovely apartment, though the location may not suit everyone, as getting to the main attractions can be a bit difficult.

Glad I chose this over a hotel. It was quiet at night, with a great bed, and everything was clean and tidy. The layout was really good, too. Shops and takeaways on the street nearby covered what we needed.

Apartment 90 had a roomy open-plan lounge, dining area, and kitchen, plus a separate large bedroom and bathroom. It was clean and well equipped with a toaster, kettle, fridge freezer, and coffee machine.
