This was our third Sunday in a row eating here, and the carvery earned the five stars we gave it. The food was fresh, hot and tasty, with generous portions, including four slices of meat. Staff are friendly and welcoming, and dogs are welcome too. Parking can be tricky because the pub is so popular for Sunday lunch.

The roast was lovely today, and the meat was absolutely delicious. The gravy is the best. We did have to wait around 40 minutes for the food, but it was worth it.

A lovely family-run pub and bed and breakfast, with very good food and friendly people and service. I’m wheelchair-bound, but getting around caused no problems at all, including in the rooms. I’d highly recommend it and would definitely go again.

Just had a lovely Sunday carvery. The staff and food were both great, and it was definitely good value for money.

The staff were super friendly, and breakfast before we left was delicious. Our room had everything we needed, and there’s a nice little garden for sunny weather. A great place to stay. We’d definitely return.
