The view across the Cowdray ruins was lovely, and the Bothy cottage was just as cute in person as it looked in the listing. They cleaned it for us on day two of our two-night stay. The bath and shower setup was a little awkward, though the photos had made that clear. It could be tricky for anyone with mobility issues, and water can end up everywhere if you aren't careful.

The breakfast was delicious, and we had a lovely one-night stay. Our bed was really comfortable, and the bath was lovely too, with a beautiful outlook over the Cowdrey ruins. It was chilly and we couldn't get the heating on, but security came straight over when we called. He couldn't fix it himself, so he called an engineer, who arrived within five minutes and sorted it. Great service, and we'd love to come back.

Breakfast at the golf club house was a real treat, and the staff there were so welcoming. At Cowdray we had a very comfortable stay that went beyond what we expected. The bed was extremely comfortable, the shower was wonderful, and the lounge was just right.

Breakfast was a pleasant start to the day, with friendly service and everything explained clearly. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the price was reasonable. I gave the room and location four stars because there's a little road noise, which could bother light sleepers.

The breakfast at the nearby Golf Club, with a view over the green, comes in generous portions, though it wasn't anything special and leaned a bit toward greasy-spoon food. The coffee was very mediocre, but the charming wait staff kept the cups coming. The rooms were nice and very clean, right in the heart of the Cowdray area, though the nearby road is noisy.
