We spent a night here in March 2023 and were impressed by the welcome, the owner and the room. We chose the larger room, which was beautifully decorated in fresh, neutral colours and felt luxurious, quiet, warm and relaxing. The bed was very comfortable, and the roomy bathroom had both a bath and a walk-in shower, plus everything we needed. We decided to walk and have breakfast in town, and the owner was very helpful, recommending places to eat and even printing us a map. Highly recommend, and we’d love to stay again!

The hosts were friendly and well organized, and the place was quiet and comfortable. It was clean, the rooms were nicely equipped, and the beds may be the best in the UK! The price is hard to beat and could easily be much higher. We’ll stay here when we’re back in the area and have already recommended it to friends.

After 15 hours on our feet, that excellent shower and bath were very welcome. The room had a big bathroom, a comfortable bed, a quiet fan and shutters that kept out the light. We also made good use of the four-way USB charger. We were in Chichester for an event at Goodwood, just a few minutes away by car, so the location worked perfectly. One of the owners greeted us with tea and warm cakes after our 3.5-hour drive and showed us to our room. Fresh cold milk was available in a flask for tea, coffee or hot chocolate, with chilled filtered water too. No noisy mini fridge in the room. We also enjoyed a tapas place about a 10-minute walk away and would recommend it.

We first found this gem in 2011 and have just stayed with Robin & Jane again. Musgrove House Boutique B&B is simply fabulous, and we’ll be back with them soon. We highly recommend it. L&L
