The fresh, high-quality food and first-class breakfast were real highlights. Everyone was so welcoming, from the bar and restaurant staff to the lovely front-of-house team, and the service felt friendly and attentive. The place was clean and lovely too. We stayed last night and have another night here, and since we have a van in selsey, we’ll be visiting "The Seal" many more times.

I wouldn't stay here again, and the pricing really needs a rethink. The room was comfortable, but very basic for what was charged, and even smaller than some Premier Inn’s rooms I’ve had. In the little shower room, there was only 20ml of shower gel and shampoo, and neither bottle was even full. That wasn't enough for one person, let alone two. I've paid less elsewhere and had a range of toiletries, a bathrobe, slippers, and breakfast included. I expected much more for a price pitched as luxury, so I was really disappointed.

The lamb rump was cooked perfectly, so compliments to the chef. We finished with a very tasty cheese board. Our room and bed were really nice for the one night we stayed, and the staff were fun and engaging.

The staff made me feel very welcome, especially Will and Jasmine, who were super friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and the facilities good. Lovely place, highly recommend.

We came to Selsey over Christmas to visit family and couldn't get a room in there inn !!!!, so this was our first stay at the Seal. We got a lovely welcome, and the room was very warm and clean. Breakfast was very good and well cooked. I can recommend it.
