The Cherry Tree

The calm, welcoming feel lasted throughout my stay, and my room was spotless, comfortable, and clearly well looked after. From arrival, the staff were warm and ready to help with anything I needed. I had a really enjoyable time here and would gladly come back. Highly recommend!

I already knew the B&B from local breakfast visits, so my family and I were glad to stay there this week. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and had their own character instead of the same generic look you find in so many places. We booked late in the evening at short notice because of an emergency, and checked in quite late. The chap on duty was incredibly accommodating. Once I explained what had happened, he rearranged the rooms so ours were near each other and had en suites. I was panicking about the late hour, but he stayed completely calm and made us feel welcome. My only suggestion is that the car park could use some investment, especially its condition and lighting. Thanks for looking after us. We all wished we needed to stay another night.

We were Northerners visiting family after a nearby gathering. The owners were lovely, so helpful and sweet, and the location was really nice. The rooms were very good for the price. I'd have no hesitation recommending it.

We stopped for a bite while out walking, and the home-cooked food was delicious, cakes included. The couple serving us were friendly and helpful with our group's dietary needs, including gluten-free and dairy-free food. We're local and looking forward to coming back to try the evening events and food.
