Premier Inn Chippenham

Booking an accessible room was easy through the phone number on the website. We had a very pleasant two-night stay, and the location was great for exploring the surrounding area. The staff were friendly and helpful, and our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable.

The location is on the outskirts of Chippenham, about a 10-minute drive away. The shower had lovely hot water, and the beds were comfortable and clean. Our room was shabby and needed attention, though it warmed up nicely once we turned up the heating. We’d booked a twin room, but had to ask for the bed settee to be made up when we arrived. More pillows would’ve helped, but I was too tired to ask. Brewers Fayer, which provides the hotel’s food, had stopped serving tea and coffee by the time we got there at 8pm.

The only real downside was the doors slamming, though I suppose that’s hard to prevent. This Premier Inn is in a pleasant location, with a restaurant next door that’s handy for meals, including breakfast. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable, and they have everything you need, including tea and coffee. Towels and shower gel are provided in the bathroom.

16/2/26 After getting back from a family holiday, I was badly jet-lagged and had my dad’s funeral to attend that afternoon. I needed somewhere to freshen up and change. Corey at reception was lovely and polite, and I can’t thank him and his manager enough. They went above and beyond for my family and me, letting us use a room for an hour free of charge. It made an upsetting, stressful day a pleasant experience. Thank you, I’ll definitely use the facilities again.
