Pudswell Studio

We slept really well on the super comfy bed, though traffic woke me in the morning when larger vehicles went by. The little apartment has plenty for a night or two: towels, toiletries, tissues, WiFi, a fridge, toaster, microwave and the usual kitchen bits. The coffee was so good, even though there was no milk in the fridge as the folder said there would be, so we drank a lot of it black. The toilet is in the shower, which was awkward and slippery after showering. A bath mat would help. It took us about 15 minutes to walk into town. Finding the place in the dark was tricky, although the daytime instructions were great. I locked myself out, but the hosts responded quickly and were very helpful. It cost over £100 a night, more than I’d normally pay. My partner said it was the cheapest nearby, and if it’s less than everywhere else, it’s definitely a better option.

After weeks in larger hotels where maintenance had been lacking, finding Pudswell Flats felt like a breath of fresh air. Our little flat was so quiet, relaxing and well equipped, while still being very convenient for everything in Burford. We were really lucky to come across it while searching for somewhere to stay.

I stayed two nights this week and was really comfortable. The place had everything I could want, and it was spotlessly clean.

We love this place. It’s private, has a beautiful view, and the proprietors are friendly. The cleanliness was especially impressive.
