Olivia was bright and helpful at morning service, with a big smile and a great attitude. Eda, serving in the restaurant in the evening, was lovely with the kids and stayed helpful even while it was very busy. Sharney, the manager, gave us a warm welcome and was pleasant and helpful too. The kids have given all three five stars. Great job!

The accessible room was right by reception and had the bath I'd requested, so I was very happy. The receptionist was friendly and helpful, and free parking was a nice extra, especially with the retail park nearby. It's well placed for Bournemouth and Poole. It's an older hotel, so there weren't any USB ports. I always forget to bring my plug 🤦

The manager at the restaurant was marvellous, and we have nothing negative to say about the staff. But we won't be staying here again. We booked five nights at Premier Inn West in Christchurch. On arrival, reception was empty and we waited at least 10 minutes before anyone showed up. After checking in, we were sent ten minutes away to the "East one" because the only available bedroom at West was dirty and smelled bad, as if it hadn't been cleaned in a month and had been shut up without decent ventilation. They offered to transfer us to Premier Inn East. We were too tired to go elsewhere that first night, but planned to leave after breakfast the next day, despite having four more nights booked.

The room was fine, and the location worked well for Bournemouth Airport. Breakfast was excellent, with fresh cooking and good waitress service on this visit. Dinner was a different story: we waited a long time despite an empty restaurant, and the fish and chips looked as if they'd been left over from lunchtime. The batter didn't seem freshly cooked.

I booked a Premier Plus room, which was spacious and came with a Nespresso machine, a fridge and upgraded WiFi. As with other Premier Inns I've stayed in, it was clean, tidy and good for the price. The restaurant was less convincing. There was a notice in the room advertising two drinks for £8, but most of the listed drinks weren't available. The bar also felt a bit tired and lacked atmosphere, so we went into town to eat. I prefer a serve-yourself breakfast, as most Premier Inns offer. Here we had to order and have it brought to the table. The waiter forgot a couple of items, which wasn't a big deal, but he didn't look happy at work. The bacon may have been sitting under a heat lamp for a while. The poached eggs, though, were cooked to order and delicious. I'll check the breakfast setup next time I book a Premier Inn.
