We had a lovely Christmas break at the Happy Hut and would recommend it as a cosy little getaway for two. It’s private, in a nice location, and has what you need for a comfortable stay. The bed was comfy, and there were chickens on the grounds. A helpful neighbour brought us more wood for the fire pit and checked the hot tub regularly. A bottle of prosseco and chocolates were waiting on arrival. There’s a nice pub a minute’s walk away and a church too. The hut was very clean, and we’d return in the summer months. Our first stay in a shepherd's Hut was an absolute delight, and we’re already looking forward to coming again. The Happy Hut was relaxing, clean and cosy, with a spotlessly clean hot tub as a lovely extra. We were welcomed with lots of nice touches, including fresh eggs from the chicks there, which we loved. The bed was comfortable, the shower great, and the kitchen had all the facilities we needed. There’s a fab pub a stone’s throw away and a pretty little church next door.

The Happy Hut really lives up to its name. It’s immaculate, peaceful and set in a quiet spot among trees. We had a very enjoyable, romantic stay, and there are lots of places to visit or you can just have fun in the fabulous hot tub. We’ll definitely return.
