I drove over on a sunny Saturday and found the place shut. A regular who'd also tried coming back said the new owners were very unreliable. Unreliable is putting it mildly. Why be closed while still letting people book tables online? I only gave it one star so I could leave a review.

The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the pub itself is nicely decorated. They had a good range of ales, including Proper Job and Tribute. The food smelled amazing, though I didn't get a chance to try it. I'd recommend stopping by, but check the opening times first since they seemed quite limited.

We had a lovely traditional pub atmosphere, with great service and food that was reasonably priced.

The food was very nice and came out quickly. They brought the wrong main at first, but sorted it out fast and had the right order to us within ten minutes.

The food looked and smelled amazing, which made the drink prices all the more disappointing. They seem to change day to day depending on who's serving, and the customer service was relatively poor. I can't condone being ripped off for drinks.
