We came here to escape the pace of city life for a bit, and it was just right for the two of us. At night, the sky was full of stars, and we loved sitting out and watching them. The Writing Shed was great for cooking and enjoying a toasty fire, while the other two rooms had panoramic views. And the bed was the biggest we've ever slept in. We left feeling relaxed, though we're already missing the owls hooting at night.

It felt like we were miles away from everyday hustle and bustle, and we came back feeling completely relaxed. We especially loved having so many places to sit outside. The fire pit and BBQ area behind the writing shed was a real highlight, with its outdoor bath. We cooked, played guitar, and enjoyed a bath under a sky so dark we could see stars everywhere, wine in hand. First, we lit the log fire to warm up the writing shed, which made a lovely dry place to get ready for the bath.

The area and views are stunning, and the place itself is lovely. We only stayed a couple of nights, but both my other half and I really enjoyed it. Jackie and Lindsay were fantastic hosts and made us feel welcome. The llamas were awesome too. Thanks for a lovely stay! I'd absolutely recommend it to couples after a quiet, romantic getaway.
