We loved the hotel and the theatre enough to book another stay for September, thanks to Amy, who was so helpful. The Ingleside Hotel has a decadent Art Deco look with a modern twist, and the attention to detail is lovely. Our luxurious bedroom had a wonderfully comfortable bed. The hotel owns the Barn Theatre next door, and after the show we came back through an internal door for a cocktail in the beautiful lounge before bed. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was delicious and beautifully presented, and breakfast was fresh and lovely too. Parking across the road was very cheap. The town centre is under a 10-minute walk away, with plenty of independent shops, or you can park in the centre. There are lots of places to visit, including the exceptional Cotswolds Sculpture Park.

The location is great, and the pianist and singer were amazing. Six of us stayed last night and were delighted with the whole experience. The rooms are stunning and have everything you need, like a hairdryer, iron, bathrobes, fridge, fresh milk and a coffee machine. There are instructions in the little box beside the machine, which people complaining in other reviews apparently didn't notice. The staff made the stay especially nice. Adam and Alex looked after us so well at dinner, and the young woman at breakfast was brilliant. We'd highly recommend staying here.

We had our whole wedding at Ingleside, from the ceremony and reception to the honeymoon suite that evening, and everything felt magical. Amber was there to help on the day, and she and the rest of the wonderful staff took care of so much that I hadn't expected to need help with. Even my last-minute requests were met with a willingness to bring my ideas to life. In our meetings, Amber was thorough and supportive as we talked through what we wanted and didn't want. We felt listened to and cared for throughout, and nothing seemed too much trouble. We first got in touch in 2022, viewed the beautiful space, and booked our October 2025 date because we wanted it settled, though you don't always need to book that far ahead. The house is beautiful, the price was good, and we can't thank the team enough. We're looking forward to coming back. We got married here in October 2025, and I'd happily recommend Ingleside to anyone looking for a lovely wedding venue. From Jay & Ryan Ravenhill (And our little ones!)

The hotel was pleasant and comfortable on both of my stays, but it didn't have the extra care that would have made either occasion feel special. I came for my wedding weekend and returned a year later for our first anniversary. The front-of-house team was friendlier on the second visit, which I appreciated, and I was glad to get a reduced rate, but the standard otherwise felt much the same, nice but not exceptional. For the wedding, I'd booked more than half the hotel for two nights and arranged welcome drinks in the bar and food for the wedding party the next morning. I had also told them it was my wedding, yet the person checking me in seemed surprised when I mentioned it and didn't appear to know about the arrangements. Everything went smoothly, but nothing felt especially thoughtful. A nearby hotel where my husband stayed left him a congratulatory note and homemade truffles, small touches I missed here. The suite was spacious, comfortable, beautiful and generally very clean. Still, I had to ask for the tissues to be replaced, and found a cork from a previous guest by the bed. The toiletries were lovely, and I enjoyed the tea and coffee, but those weren't restocked either, so I had to ask for more, including extra milk. Even a biscuit would have been a nice touch.

The reception, breakfast and cleaning staff were all polite and friendly, and went out of their way to fit in some last-minute breakfast guests. Thank you! It's a lovely hotel, just a short walk from Cirencester centre.
