We booked the downstairs private dining cellar for 16, and the food was wonderful: fresh, tasty and cooked just right. The rooms were spotless, spacious and beautifully presented, and the team took such good care of our children and dogs that the trip felt stress-free. We came to celebrate my wife's 30th birthday, and from arrival the service and attention to detail were seamless. A really memorable celebration, and we'll definitely be back.

Our group of 11 had afternoon tea at The Kings Head in Cirencester for a special birthday, and it was a lovely experience throughout. The food had a great selection, was delicious and beautifully presented, and everyone enjoyed it. We heard lots of kind comments about both the meal and the service. Booking was easy, the staff were helpful and friendly on the phone, and everything was organised well for us when we arrived. Thanks to Riley & team for a very enjoyable afternoon. We'll be back!

Breakfast was a real highlight: there was a small continental buffet, unlimited coffee, and a menu with options like a full English, French toast, different egg dishes and shakshuka. Everything we tried was very good. Our room was much larger than an average hotel room, and the good-quality supplies, from natural shampoos to coffee and tea, were generous. The hotel is very central for exploring on foot, with several convenient car parks nearby. Reception staff, including the Romanian girl and the other gentleman, were friendly and chatty, and their recommendations for places to eat and visit were all excellent. Our original room's AC wasn't working, but the team moved us quickly and let us choose between rooms. We'd definitely stay again.

We came just for breakfast, and it was amazing. We eat out for breakfast a lot, and this was one of the best we've had anywhere. Good choice, great value, quality ingredients and lovely service, all in a beautiful setting. The brasserie is gorgeous and the adjoining bar looked great too. We'll definitely be back.

Audrey made the meal feel effortless. She was exceptionally attentive and warm, and the food was fantastic, with every dish delicious. Her recommendation of the pear dessert was a real highlight; we wouldn't have ordered it without her suggestion. A wonderful experience, and we'll 100% return. Highly recommend!
