After a generous full English breakfast, we set off for Bath in fine weather, following the Fosse Way all the way from nearby Kemble airport. It took an easy four hours. We were two cyclists looking for a basic overnight stop near the Fosse Way, and our bikes were safely stored inside at the back, with the e-bike recharged. The upstairs sitting and eating area was clean and next to the twin room, with the bathroom opposite. The nearby Tandoori was open and serving food on Sunday evening when the rest of the village wasn't, and there was a Co-op nearby too. Thank you, Linda!
