We were there for 1 night. The proprietor was keen to welcome us and wanted his large husky to meet our dog. She was terrified by the idea, and I worried they might fight, so we kept a polite, safe distance. The room itself was comfortable, but the elderly resident next door kept me awake for half the night. With their chairlift on the stairs, getting luggage up and down was a squeeze too.

We stayed for a night, and the hosts were welcoming and enjoyed meeting our dog. The room was spacious and comfortable, breakfast was great, and the homemade marmalade was excellent.

Sean and Anne really go out of their way for guests, and this is a proper family farm house B&B. There are just two letting rooms, and mine was very comfortable. Downstairs, a large conservatory sun room has tea and coffee available all the time. Breakfast was very good, with locally sourced bacon and sausages. Great value for money, and I'd definitely stay again.

Sean and Anne made us feel part of the family from the moment we walked in, and did everything they could to make us comfortable. They also made sure the vegan members of our group were looked after. Breakfast in the sunroom was delicious, with a fantastic view. Nip the dog is a beautiful, gentle soul, and we loved meeting him. We highly recommend Ballyhargan Farm House. Thank you so much for a fantastic stay.

It was such a peaceful area, and the views all around were beautiful. The house is old, including the decor, but everything was clean and neat, and the room was comfortable with its own bathroom. Breakfast came promptly and tasted good. The hosts were friendly, and we could take a circular walk nearby. They were happy to have our dogs too, which was a bonus. Their family dog was brought right beside the table, though. I love dogs, just not someone else's so close to my food.
