Breakfast was a letdown. There were no plates until I asked for a couple, both the orange and cranberry juice had run out, and the food was only lukewarm by the time it reached my cold plate. I hope this was just a bad spell, since it wasn't like this on my previous visit. I had booked a Premier Plus room, but several basics were missing. There was no tea, the toiletries were empty, and there was no water in the fridge. The gentleman at reception kindly got us tea and water, and my husband went back to ask for toiletries. He was friendly and efficient, and apologised each time something was missing. The shower temperature was also very difficult to control. The bathroom skirting boards had fluff on them, and the general areas looked as if they needed vacuuming. I've stayed here before, and this visit wasn't nearly as good. You expect a certain standard from a Premier Inn, so I can only guess the room hadn't been checked or they ran out of time. Not the best stay.

Pui and her team were amazing, and Pui was so lovely to my wife and me as we celebrated our 34th anniversary this week. Thank you again. The only reason we didn't give the room five stars was that the air conditioning wouldn't go below 19 degrees, which is quite warm for sleeping.

Lilly made breakfast feel welcoming and was so kind and helpful, making sure I had everything I needed. Britney, the cleaner, was friendly and thoughtful too. My room felt like new when I came back to it, and she shared some great ideas for things to do around the Cotswolds. I had a comfortable, relaxing stay at the Premier Inn in Cirencester, just what I needed. It was lovely from start to finish, and I'll definitely return. Happy to recommend it.

This was the worst hotel stay I've ever had. We spent two nights getting bitten all over by what I believe were bed bugs and ticks. After we complained following the first night, we were told there were no other rooms and sent back to the same room. Even a possible bed bug issue should have been investigated before putting guests back in there. The room was disgusting. The manager did nothing, and customer relations were no help either. They say an investigation found no infestation, which is a surprise, but they haven't shown me any evidence that it happened. I have a video of a live tick from the hotel bathroom that I sent them, but they say it couldn't have come from the hotel. The site won't let me upload the video. They also told us three times at breakfast that breakfast wasn't included, even though we'd paid the night before. A young staff member was quite rude and left us standing there. Something was taken from the room, apparently because they thought it belonged to them. We were told we don't qualify for a refund. The complaints team just keeps sending the same poor apology and 'no refund' response. Absolute joke of a place.

The food was awful, like Wetherspoons food with none of the taste. One staff member didn't know the restaurant menu, argued with us and other staff about what was on the small plates deal, then forgot to order half the food, so we waited ages. Staff were hit and miss, though two were really friendly and knowledgeable. The Premier room felt quite dated compared with other Premier Inns, and the bathroom badly needs renovating. There is a Tesco about a 10-minute walk up the road, which was handy.
