The Crown Inn

A pretty village and lovely setting make this my favorite pub. The staff are friendly, the food is great, and when it’s cold they always have an open log fire. Would thoroughly recommend.

The staff couldn’t have been more helpful, and everyone was friendly. We had breakfast the next morning after eating in the pub that evening, and both the food and our lovely room were excellent. It was well worth the money. Our stay at the Crown Inn was perfect, and we’ll definitely come back when we’re in the area.

I only had two nights here, but it felt like home as soon as I opened the room door, and I enjoyed every moment. I stumbled across the place and am really glad I came. The weather was warm and perfect, even in November. The location isn’t very convenient for backpackers, though I liked that about it, and even enjoyed the quiet while waiting for the bus. The pub is clearly loved by the locals, who were all so kind. I met a man in a Tokyo T-shirt, which was a lovely surprise since I’m from Tokyo, along with his two handsome friends. I was so happy to tell people in the village how much I love this place. Thanks to everyone I met, the staff, and the kind people of the village. I’ll definitely return for my favorite scrambled eggs. As I get older, I’ll keep telling people the best scrambled eggs are here.

I went in on the off chance of finding Sunday lunch, and I’m really glad I did. It was just my whippet and me, and they gave us a lovely table beside the fire, perfect for a cosy meal. The roast beef was delicious and generously served, and the staff were genuinely warm and welcoming. The Crown Inn in Frampton Mansell has a relaxed country pub atmosphere that’s hard to find these days. Highly recommended, I’ll be back.
