The view from the hill behind the house is superb, and Ronja is the sweetest dog. The wifi was spotty, which was great because the kids got bored and had to get active. This was one of the best places I've visited on holiday with my family.

Oban Seil Farm is a paradise, with lovely little cottages equipped for a home away from home. You can find lots to do nearby, or just relax by the water on the shore. It's a beautiful, special part of the world, and we hope to return one day. Thanks, Bette and Nick, for a wonderful long weekend!

Nick and Bette were wonderful hosts, and we had such a lovely stay. Many thanks to them for a wonderful location too.

The house has decent-sized rooms and a good layout, with easy access down to a private landing. The kids can look for crabs and things, and it's a great base for exploring the area. It's not perfect, though: the kitchen knives are annoyingly blunt, there's no muffin tray, and the pillows feel a little different from home. Still, it's a nice place to rent.

The separate shore area is just five minutes across a delightful field, which felt safe for the children. There's a barbecue area there, plus canoes and boats to use. Bette made us fresh bread each day, Nick took the children on tractor rides and let them feed the sheep, and fresh eggs and Langoustines were available too. The accommodation was clean and well equipped, and the children could roam around the farm and grounds. My wife and I came from Edinburgh for a week with our three children, aged 5, 3, and 14 days. What a little gem of a holiday let.
