Denise and her daughter were such a friendly, welcoming team, and we'll definitely stay again. The guest house was spotless, with beautiful bedding and a lovely comfortable bed. Facilities and customer service were brilliant, and breakfast was first class. Absolutely 💯 value for money, highly recommended 👌.

Breakfast was a top score, 10 out of 10, and Denise and her daughter Terri made it feel relaxed and personal. Terri also helps her mum with the cleaning and does an excellent job. Parking outside was plentiful, and we'll definitely return. After reading reviews, we chose to stay at the Sandrock. Denise greeted us on arrival, polite and charming. The first impression was how clean and tidy her home was. We had room 2 on the first floor, absolutely spotless, with a bathroom to die for and a really powerful shower. The TV was a great size, there were tea and coffee facilities, and a nice street view. Thank you both, and please enter the 4 in a bed competition!!!!!! Steve & Fiona.

We only stayed the one night, but it was a very good experience. The breakfast was wonderful and so big it kept us going all day. A good stay.

The vegan and vegetarian breakfasts were fresh, tasty and plentiful. We had a comfortable, clean one-night stay at the Sandrock in Clacton and couldn't have asked for more. If we go to Clacton again, we'll head straight back to the Sandrock.

The staff were friendly, attentive and dedicated, and made us feel welcome. We had a lovely room with a spacious en suite bathroom, and the breakfasts were very tasty. We only managed breakfast on the first morning because we overslept the second day! My son and I stayed for two nights in Clacton, and the location was fantastic, right on the beachfront and seconds from the pavillion and pier. We could see the pier from our sea-view room. It's great value, and we'd certainly return next time we're in Clacton.
