First time at the Comat, but it won't be our last. Mrs Sykes was so friendly and pleasant, and you can tell she loves what she does. Room 5 was spotless, spacious and had everything we needed, from a hairdryer to a mini fridge. Breakfast was beautiful and fresh, one of the best we've had. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back soon. Thanks, Hannah and Alex Ford.

The lady running the place was wonderful, and she seemed to be managing it single handedly despite looking frail. That may explain some of the things that had been missed. The room seemed nice at first, but on closer inspection there was dust on the TV, skirting boards and cupboards. There was no heating and the Wi-Fi was turned off. I left at six this morning. It's a shame, as the reviews made it sound lovely. Definitely not four star.

The woman and her helper were really friendly. The hotel is small, modernised and kept very clean, and the room was nice. Breakfast was cooked well. I'd definitely go again.

I was welcomed warmly and helpfully, checked in right away and offered a drink. My delicious breakfast was ready the next day. The room was lovely, with a big bathroom, hair dryer, heating, a TV and Wi-Fi that worked just fine. The bed was really comfortable and everything was very clean. The location is great, close to Cleethorpes Pier and near the train station. I had an excellent stay and really recommend The Comat to anyone visiting Cleethorpes.

The breakfast was ready quickly and tasted really good. We booked at the last minute, but the staff were attentive, kind and helpful, and the hotel was modern and spotless. We'd happily return and recommend it.
