The 3 Millstones Inn

The rooms feel modern and are clean, with a high standard of finish. Everyone we met on staff was friendly and helpful. A lovely hotel and bar.

The food was excellent at both dinner and breakfast, and service was good throughout. The menu has seasonal specials, with restaurant-style food and prices rather than traditional pub meals. The Inn feels geared more towards dining than a classic pub atmosphere. We stayed one night in a room in a converted outbuilding, reached from the car park. It had what you’d expect, though some of the finer details felt a little lacking. It was a good stay, just not one that went beyond expectations, and the room didn’t quite live up to the food. The Inn is in a quaint, picturesque village and makes a handy base for walking and exploring the area. There isn’t much to see right nearby. I’d have liked a bit more of a traditional pub feel.

The trio of pork was beautiful, and I thought the restaurant food was exceptional value. Breakfast was made with local produce and cooked and presented wonderfully. The rooms were also finished to a high standard and had everything I needed. A lovely gentleman greeted me and made the whole stay a pleasure. One of the loveliest places I’ve stayed, in my opinion.

Breakfast had loads of choice and was delicious, with fresh local ingredients. The staff were welcoming and friendly. We stayed overnight after a wedding at the out barn, and the room was amazing, with a comfy bed and all the amenities. The bathroom felt luxurious, especially the rain head shower and underfloor heating. I can’t recommend the place enough and will definitely be back.
