Lovely pub surroundings, with owners who were lovely and prompt food service. My wife and I had lunch at the Coach and Horses yesterday. I ordered the steak and ale pie and she had the roast pork. Honestly, one of the loveliest meals we’ve ever had. Cannot recommend it highly enough!

The Sunday lunch was excellent, with beautifully presented food, lovely pink beef, a great Yorkshire pudding and superb veggies. We found it very reasonably priced, and the starter and dessert were lovely too. The staff were fantastic, friendly and helpful. We’ll be back to try something else from the menu.

We were staying at a nearby camp site and came here for meals two days in a row. The food, service and hospitality were all 100%. It's a beautiful pub in a lovely village, and they made our 2 Spaniels most welcome too.

Mel kindly found space for my son Teddy and his girlfriend for his 18th birthday meal, even though the place was fully booked. It was just what he wanted. He said it was the best roast he’s ever had, the service was fantastic, and they even greeted him with a birthday card. Thank you so much to Mel and the Coach & Horses team for making the day so special. It meant a lot to him, and to me too.

Calder Farm, where we're staying, had this place on their notice board, so that's how we found it. We had a delicious lunch, and the staff were lovely. It's dog friendly, and our dogs were very pleased with the dog biscuits. Thanks! Would definitely recommend a visit.
