The host was so pleasant and helpful, and we all had a wonderful time at the Manse on the Beach. The room and beds were amazing. We were there with family for the weekend, had a lovely Christmas dinner in the evening, then an amazing Ulster fry in the morning. We’d definitely go back.

The Thai banquet was amazing, especially the fish dish, and breakfast was just as good. We also enjoyed the lovely beach views and a walk once the rain let up. Everything was faultless during our chilled stay at this beautiful, peaceful B&B, from the spotless, restful accommodation to the warm welcome from the owners and staff. Already looking forward to returning. Thank you for your hospitality.

You can see the sea and hear the waves through the window, and there’s a beautiful beach across from the Manse on the Beach where we went for a dip. Brian and Sarah were lovely hosts, and I had a wonderful stay. I also had a Thai massage, which was great. Fantastic B&B, highly recommend.

I arrived on my own and felt at home straight away. The accommodation is beautiful, and Sarah & Brian are wonderful hosts who are happy to help with anything. Mac loved his stay too 🐕. The Manse on the Beach is just across from a lovely beach that my dog and I had to ourselves. Breakfast was excellent: I had poached eggs, bacon and sourdough, all yum. I was lucky to be there for the Saturday Thai night, with a delicious range of freshly cooked, beautifully presented dishes. The location, cleanliness and hospitality are all spot on. Perfect getaway and well worth a visit 🙂

This was my favorite of the seven places we stayed in Ireland, castle included. I didn’t take photos, but the place is great. The rooms are spacious with lovely beach and ocean views, the beds beat hotel quality, and the shower had loads of pressure. You can open the windows or tilt them inward for fresh air and the sound of the ocean when the tide comes in. Breakfast was homemade and delicious, with generous portions and a choice from the menu. The whole area felt safe, there’s plenty of parking, and everything is clean and well maintained. Out back there’s a lovely spot to watch the sunset with a drink by the fire pit. They can help you book dinner at the Quays, pronounced Keys, where the food is very good. There are five big golden retrievers, but only Oscar gets to spend time with guests. He’s older and very friendly. The owner played rugby for Ireland in the '90s, and you can watch a match with him on his giant TV. I asked how this could be called a five-star place when it clearly deserved six!
