The staff were polite and quick to help, and the room felt peaceful, with a really comfortable, cozy bed. It was clean, spacious, and beautifully designed. We had an amazing stay, a great spot for a relaxing vacation. Highly recommended.

We were locked out of the hotel on the first night and had to call a mobile number to get someone to open the front door. There was barely any running water, and with nobody at reception, it was hard to get help. We hadn't been told about the refurbishment, so there was no restaurant or breakfast, and the room was very poor. A member of the front of house staff even came into our room while my partner and I were in bed. The next day, workmen walked past our window while we were getting up and saw us undressed. We'd booked it because it seemed ideal for our weekend plans. What a disappointment. 😡😡

We stayed in room 11, a proper family room with everything you'd expect from a decent hotel. Since the renovation, the place has been completely overhauled, and Angel tours has done a tremendous job creating the best atmosphere possible on an economical budget. The management and ownership have changed, so don't rely on older reviews. Definitely recommended.
