We only spent one night at the Grumpy Schnauzer, but it was an amazing stay. The hot tub was the highlight: clean, private and so relaxing. The room and house have incredible attention to detail, and our warm, welcoming hosts took great care of us.
We booked the blue room with the indoor hot tub for my boyfriend's birthday, and it was amazing. Such a lovely getaway, with amazing staff. We'll be back!
The Blue room was beautifully decorated, and the hot tub room looked just as smart. After relaxing in the massive bed at 10:30, I woke up feeling refreshed. We came for our 17th wedding anniversary and had an amazing break to unwind. Big Dave greeted us warmly and showed us the gym and other facilities. He was really friendly and down to earth, and Mara, our host at checkout, was just as nice. Thanks to you both. We'll definitely return to see the other rooms.
We stayed in the sleeping dog room, which was massive, with a very comfortable bed and an amazing shower. The complimentary toiletries smelled lovely, and the robes, slippers and little welcome message were among so many thoughtful touches. Our friendly hosts couldn't do enough for us. The whole stay was calm and relaxing, and we loved it from start to finish. We didn't want to leave and are already looking at dates to come back. 100% recommend, you won't regret booking. Xx
We stayed in the blue horse room, and the lights and whole vibe were fabulous. The attention to detail was unreal! It was such a lovely, relaxing experience, and just what we needed since we're not usually good at taking time to unwind. You could really tell you were in the middle of nowhere, with cows mooing nearby. Looking forward to booking again soon. Thank you 🥰
