Breakfast was ready for the road the next morning, with a good buffet selection that stayed stocked and coffee to get me going. The room had been quiet, clean and comfortable, and the bed was good. I was there for one night on a nearby work trip, and the landscaped parkland just off the A3 near the M25 made it easy to reach. Plenty of parking and check-in was simple. Dinner was hot and freshly cooked. The beef burger came with cheese and bacon in a soft brioche bun, and the patties had a good sear. I also had sticky glazed pork bites, nicely caramelised with fresh chilli and pea shoots. Service was attentive and efficient all evening. A comfortable, practical stop for business travel. We visited in August on a family package, and the staff made us feel so welcome. The reception ladies were lovely and always ready to help. The head chef was a really nice guy, and the restaurant staff were friendly and made a fuss of my son. Breakfast was delicious, and my little boy had the best time. The rooms were clean and nice too. Thank you!

Darcy in the bar was especially helpful. The bar and restaurant had run out of a few things, including hot chocolate, which was a shame. In the room, the bathroom felt a little bare on toiletries, with no shower cap. Maybe those were available if I'd asked, but I expected them to be there. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and well kept. It was a lovely stay, and the hotel didn't feel impersonal or chain-like.

Breakfast had plenty to suit different tastes, from fresh fruit to omelettes made to order, with Nicki and Lynne leading the service. The bar team, Vanessa & Elena, were friendly and always greeted us with a smile. Aimee at the front desk also took great care of me on my recent stays at Hilton Cobham. The people really make the place. Keep up the great work.

The chef even came out to chat with guests, which was a lovely touch, and the food was amazing. Everyone on staff was friendly and so helpful. We had a really relaxing weekend break. There's a padel court you can book, run separately, and a great gym. Painshill Park is nearby too, with a lovely location for a hike.
