Embleton Spa Hotel

We stayed in the Windermere room/apartment, which was fantastic and had great facilities. The hotel is ideally placed, with plenty of lovely walks nearby. The gym and pool were good, though we didn't get around to trying the spa. That house special burger may be one of the best I've had in ages, and the bacon was incredible. We'll send the old folks over to stay next!

The evening meals were excellent, with plenty of choices my wife could eat as she is coeliac, and breakfast was just as good. We didn't use the spa, so can't comment on it. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The staff were so friendly and happy to help, and we got a warm welcome with a complimentary G & T. Soon after arriving, the woodburning stove was roaring in the bar, which made it easy to settle in. We'd certainly recommend the hotel to family and friends 🥰.

We heard some noise from other guests in our room, but it soon stopped and didn't disturb our sleep. The food was excellent, with nothing to complain about, and service was lovely from the friendly staff. The gym was very well equipped for its size. The pool was warm and there was also a hot tub and steam room, though the hot tub wasn't very hot when I got in. A great little hotel that felt very family run. Can recommend.

The kitchen really knows its way around gluten free and coeliac safe food, and what they served was absolutely gorgeous. The staff were brilliant too. A real gem, highly recommended.
