The bath was a real treat, and the huge bathroom also has a separate shower. The bed was comfy, with lovely linens, and there were robes, tea and coffee, plus delicious breakfasts. Everything was tastefully done. Sylvie & Peter are fabulous hosts, and the B&B is wonderful. Terrific value, highly recommended.
The packed lunches for £7.50 made the next leg easy, and breakfast was just what we needed to set off. We stayed one night midway through a South Downs Way bikepacking trip. The room was exceptionally comfortable, and Sylvie was such a kind, welcoming host. Highly recommended.
We were exhausted after cycling 40 miles in 31 c heat, and got such a friendly welcome, cold water and fruit. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We’d love to come back if we get the chance. Well done.
After walking in the 'mizzle', the tea in our room helped us warm up. Breakfast was excellent, with a lovely view over the garden, and we were glad we could buy lunch for the rest of our South Downs Way walk. This was the most elegant, well equipped B&B we've stayed in, warm and welcoming with lots of thoughtful touches, including Terry robes and slippers.
I arrived drenched after walking the south downs way, with a kit bag full of damp clothes, and Silvie kindly tumble dried them for me. I really appreciated the help. The room was lovely and breakfast was great. Thanks again 👍
