Newmans Hall

A charming B&B that’s well above average. The owners are very friendly, the rooms are clean and the bed was comfy. It was quiet at night, and breakfast was superb. They even laughed politely at my jokes. 10/10.

Our hosts were lovely and made us feel very welcome. The room was large, with loads of wardrobe space, and breakfast was a great cooked meal with plenty of choice.

Newmans was a real treat. The bed was superb, the room clean and comfortable, and the TV was so big I felt spoilt. They’d thought of the small things too, including a little jug of fresh milk in the fridge, and the heating was on the whole time. The internet was super fast, which was great while I was working. Breakfast was good, with lots of teas and jams, lovely toast and real butter. I didn’t get the woman’s name, but thank you so much for everything. Impressed? Very much. Parking was easy too. A beautiful, traditional old-school place to stay. The room was stunning and clean, the bed comfortable, and the staff were so helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. I’d definitely recommend it.
