The room's condition was bad enough, but the way Premier Inn handled the complaint was even more disappointing. They later admitted in writing that it was “not of an acceptable standard” and acknowledged the problems, yet Guest Relations Advisor Fatema offered just £56 from our £236 booking as a “goodwill” gesture. That felt frankly insulting. The Guest Relations team's response, including Fatema's, came across as dismissive and at times rude. I felt they wanted to close the complaint cheaply instead of taking my family's concerns seriously. Premier Inn accepted the room was below standard but still considered £56 an appropriate resolution. It says a lot about how they value customer satisfaction. My family had booked two rooms. One smelled strongly unpleasant, had a dirty, stained carpet, poor ventilation, and was unbearably hot. We reported it straight away, but were told there were no alternative rooms, so we were stuck with something clearly below the standard we'd paid for. This was one of the worst hotel and customer service experiences I've ever had. It's completely changed my opinion of Premier Inn. I won't stay there again, and would strongly advise others to think carefully before booking.

Our night was very short because we had a 2am start, and we'd arrived with a lot of luggage after being dropped off. Lee was very helpful at check-in and offered to help carry it. In the morning Jamie and Emma were just as kind, giving us hot water for our porridge and coffee while we waited for our lift. The staff were friendly, lovely, and helpful.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the price was excellent. Free parking and the pub/restaurant on site were really convenient. The staff were incredible, polite, and so helpful. I can't recommend them highly enough.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived, and we had a lovely, peaceful night's stay in a clean room. My one issue was the lack of air conditioning. I need it because of hot flushes, and after a hot bath and using hairdryers on both my daughter's and my hair, the room got really stuffy. The windows wouldn't open to help. We paid for breakfast, which was okay, but no one asked about the cooked option for a while, so we had to ask to order. The meal arrived missing some requested items. They took it away and brought it back still missing one, so I asked again. The missing item only arrived after we'd finished the first plate. Slightly disappointing.

The attached Table Table was decent for lunch and dinner for the price, and we enjoyed our stay. Our room was clean and tidy, with a shower and bath, and the staff were great. Breakfast, though, was terrible. We waited 35 minutes while people who arrived after us were served first. When the food came, it was cold and the eggs were overcooked. We were told we'd get a refund.
