The Plough Inn is so lovely already that it only needed a few simple touches, and the recommended suppliers helped make it feel like us. The food was gorgeous, from the canapés to beautifully cooked beef and the best sticky toffee pudding, even in a heat wave. We chose it for our May Bank Holiday wedding and knew as soon as we arrived that we’d made the right call. We and our guests enjoyed every minute. The planning team answered questions, replied to emails and arranged meetings in the lead-up, then ran the day so smoothly that we could relax and go with the flow. We’re so grateful for that. Guests loved the attentive, lovely staff, food and atmosphere, and several are planning to return for a meal. We’d happily recommend The Plough for a wedding or any special occasion.

The cheese pie was incredible, and that red wine gravy was fantastic. I usually take pictures of my food, but I skipped that this time and tucked straight in because it looked so good. The staff were super friendly, the atmosphere was great, and the outdoor area was really clean and modern. I can’t comment on the rooms. So many other menu options sounded delicious, I’ll be back to try them.

The Barn was a brilliant, flexible space, and everyone had lovely things to say about the venue. The rooms were clean and comfortable, especially the beds, and The Loft made a great wedding prep space, fully furnished for the occasion. We recently got married at the Plough and were really impressed by how well they looked after us, both beforehand and on the day. Nothing felt like a problem. The wedding planners guided us through everything and answered questions quickly. The catering was high standard too. We’d choose it again in a heartbeat. Thanks so much Jo and Team x

We went three times as a family of four, and everyone enjoyed the food, which says a lot with my family 😂. The portions were generous, too. Service was fantastic and the staff were friendly. We live too far away to make it back easily, but if we were closer, we’d definitely return. Highly recommend.

The pub was much bigger than I’d pictured, with plenty of parking. We popped in for a bite and had lovely food with excellent service. We’ll definitely be back.
