The eggs on toast were cooked just right and the coffee looked great. I paid at the counter when I ordered, but later got chased out and accused of not paying. That really spoiled an otherwise five-star visit. Keep your receipt 😡

A quiet, handy cafe with good coffee and friendly staff. There are only two tables where dogs are allowed, but they have the best view.

The £5 all-day breakfast and £5 fish and chips were both pretty nice. Make sure you ask for the £5 deal, though, or they charge the full price. Once you add drinks, it comes to about the cost of a regular meal anyway, so it isn't quite the bargain it seems. The staff were friendly enough and the decor was alright, but they forgot the water I asked for after burning my mouth on the coffee. They said they'd bring it straight over, then it only arrived when I was nearly done eating. It wasn't busy and there were several staff around, so that was a bit frustrating. Not sure I'd come back.

The eggs Benedict were delicious, and the latte was really good too. I stopped in for breakfast during a weekend in Conwy. Loved the interior, with lots of seating, and service was quick. I'd definitely recommend it.

The Ploughman's at lunch was impressive, and the service stayed impeccable even with more customers in. Earlier, after getting off the train in Conwy, I had time before Mayall's Guitar Shop opened, so I went in for coffee. That turned into a bacon sarnie and fresh OJ as well. The food was well prepared and the ambience was spot on. I'll eat there again next time I'm in Conwy.
