Quay Hotel and Spa

The staff deserve to hear how amazing they are. I've never stayed at a hotel with people so kind, warm and welcoming. Joyce in The Cove and at breakfast was an absolute dream, so friendly and attentive, and made us feel really looked after. The two reception staff, a Welsh girl with dark hair and Maria (?), were lovely too, calm and professional, and just knew how to make us feel welcome. We stayed one night midweek, arriving just after lunch for some well deserved drinks in The cove, then went to the spa and had an evening meal. We first came about 5/6 years ago, and could see some facelifts to the place that looked great. We took advantage of the promotion and thought it was an amazing deal. Thankyou times 1000.

The breakfast was fantastic, fresh and with a really wide choice. It's a beautiful hotel in a stunning location, and the reception staff were really friendly. Our room was big, cosy and clean. The spa looks stunning too, though the sauna and steam rooms are very small, the jacuzzi was cold, and the spa itself felt chilly. Still nice overall.

We had another great weekend at The Quay, thanks to a good last minute deal. The room was lovely, with an estuary view and a big comfy bed. Dinner at the Ebb &Flow was great, with super wine and friendly, efficient service. We also swam, used the sauna, then finished with a really relaxing massage in the revamped Spa. Easy five stars.

We usually stay as a couple, but couldn't get our usual dog sitter this time, so brought Bayley along. The staff were fantastic with our dog and made us all feel very welcome. The room was clean and comfortable. There are just a couple of dog friendly rooms. The Hotel was very warm on a cold, snowy weekend. Thank you, everyone.
