We had an outstanding New Year's stay at Y Chapel, a perfect base for exploring Conwy. The rooms are modern, luxurious, and well equipped. Across the road, The Erskine Arms serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the food was great every time.

The noise kept us from getting a restful night. We could hear every footstep from the neighbors upstairs and even suitcases being unzipped in the next room, as if the ceiling and inside walls lacked insulation. Still, breakfast at the Erskine Arms the next morning was great. The building itself is beautiful, with tall ceilings that made our nicely appointed room feel luxurious. I also appreciated the effort to preserve its history.

The communal lounge was a nice place to relax, and our room was very comfortable. We stayed in this lovely converted chapel near the centre of Conwy, and it was very quiet while we were there. Breakfast at the pub across the road was lovely each day. Parking was good, though it might fill up in peak tourist season.

The food at Erskine Pub was amazing, with great service. I can recommend the Welsh breakfast, made with fresh local produce, and I'll definitely stay again. The place is tastefully decorated throughout and feels cosy and comfortable, with everything you could need in the room. Just remember to turn right when leaving the car park because it's one way. I got that wrong.

A quiet, comfortable room right in beautiful Conwy. The Erskine Arms is an excellent restaurant, with a yummy breakfast and drinks or meals available too. Highly recommend it as a base for exploring all northern Wales has to offer.
