The bed was really comfortable, and there was room to park along the street in front of the house. Nevis View is among the cheaper places around Fort William, but I wouldn't choose it for a family or a stay longer than a night or two. The room was clean but quite small, and there wasn't much space overall. Bookshelves along the narrow hall and stairs made it awkward to carry luggage through. There were cameras around the house apart from in the bedroom and shared bathroom, as another recent reviewer mentioned. Breakfast was okay, and the owner made an effort to provide good vegetarian sausages, but I've had better at Scottish B&Bs. For example, the tomatoes were microwaved. We left after two nights instead of the planned five because we had our 10-month-old with us, and there wasn't anywhere for him to crawl around freely.

Parking right in front of the building was convenient, but for what you get, I thought the price was too high. We stayed three nights. The B&B was clean, the room had good equipment, and breakfast was good, though the room was too small for two people. A shared space would've helped, but there wasn't one, and the host asked guests to be out for the day until 5 pm, which felt odd. Communication was friendly but short on information. On the first day, we returned to find the host had been in our room despite the door being locked, and we hadn't been told this would happen. There were also several cameras around the house, so you're filmed outside your room and even at breakfast. We weren't informed about those when we arrived either, so be aware before booking.

Our host was lovely and hospitable, and made us feel at home. We enjoyed breakfast, and parking right outside the property was easy. The bedroom was a little cramped for three, but it was clean and the beds were comfortable. We'd recommend Nevis View to anyone looking for a nice B&B around Fort William and Glen Nevis.

For the price, I doubt you'll find better. This little B&B was spotless and homely, with a great breakfast and a great owner.
