We booked through a website specialising in hen-do holidays, so it was surprising to have the property management try to charge us £480 per night for excessive noise. The owner had told the hen to party hard, which made the charge especially stressful and left the bride and others with a bitter feeling about the whole stay. This shouldn’t be advertised as a hen-do venue if party noise isn’t tolerated and guests can be charged so much when it’s considered too noisy. The property was OK, but not as good as the pictures led us to expect. There were several problems with doors and furniture, as well as mould. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

A great place for a group to meet up, with easy access to Bath and easy parking. The ensuite rooms were great. Elle was incredibly helpful throughout our stay and a fantastic host for our group of 14. Can’t recommend it enough.

I’m writing at 6:20am after the worst night’s sleep. The bed felt like a squeaky prison bed, and I woke to people upstairs running along the hallway and singing loudly. That’s pretty ironic when the rules say no noise after 9pm. The showers are in terrible condition, the beds are awful and squeak, and the noise from upstairs is horrendous.

This was our second visit, and we enjoyed it just as much as the first. The accommodation is thoughtfully laid out, with everything we needed for a comfortable, happy stay. It’s easy to get around from here, while still being quiet enough for a relaxing weekend away. My girlfriend and I hope to come back.

The house was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities, and it’s centrally located within walking distance of local shops. Our host welcomed us with some food and gave us very detailed information about the surrounding area. I’d recommend it to anyone travelling here.
