Doubletree by Hilton Coventry

Preeti made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. She was kind, professional, and genuinely helpful. We had a couple of minor issues in the room, but Preeti, Beverley, and another lovely receptionist whose name we didn’t catch sorted them out quickly and efficiently. They also offered us an upgrade, a later checkout, and morning coffees, which we appreciated. The hotel was spotlessly clean, with a beautiful modern lobby and downstairs area, and we felt comfortable and well looked after throughout. We can’t remember having hotel staff this polite, friendly, and attentive before. Even though we don’t normally have a reason to visit Coventry, we’d return just for the service. A memorable stay, and highly recommended.

We booked this as a halfway stop on our journey and were delighted. There was plenty of parking, and the Christmas decorations were beautiful when we walked in. Beverly greeted us at reception, checked us in quickly, and made sure we had all the information we needed. She was attentive and warm, and on our return visit she remembered us. We’d booked that stay while we were there, and we’ll definitely stay again.

Dora at the front desk gave me excellent service. She was professional and extremely helpful, and every other staff member I met was great as well. It’s one of the best DoubleTrees I’ve stayed in. Thanks to Dora and the DoubleTree team for making the visit so enjoyable. I’ll be back.

Beverley on reception is an absolute legend of a human, God bless her. I’ve never had a hotel hand out a heated cookie to each guest on arrival before. The swimming pool was a bit disappointing, but otherwise I was really happy. Definitely the best hotel to stay in Coventry.
