The food was a real highlight. The crispy squid starters were so popular with some of my guests that they ordered them again, and the mains were just as good. I was relieved the food lived up to the atmosphere. Hotel Indigo Coventry was a lovely place to hold my special event for nine people in the Lady Godiva room. It’s an elegant, intimate venue, and the staff welcomed everyone and kept my guests comfortable. The outside decorators I hired were able to set up easily. Planning was straightforward from the start. Whenever I called with questions, staff explained things patiently and clearly, and I was able to extend my booking. The location beside the train station was especially convenient for guests travelling to Coventry and made getting home at the end of the evening stress-free. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would recommend it for a special occasion.
10/10
Everyone was so kind and helpful, from the front desk to the restaurant and bar. The hotel is modern, cosy and really clean, and the rooms were spotless too. It’s right across from the station, which is very convenient. Breakfast was great. Definitely recommend it!
6/10
The location right beside the train station is handy, and the room itself was decent sized, clean and spacious. Still, for what I paid, the service was disappointing. The front desk staff could use more training, especially the short-haired blonde woman I dealt with. If check-in had gone smoothly, this would easily have been five stars.
10/10
Hotel Indigo Coventry has a lovely boutique look, with rooms that mix modern comfort and details reflecting the city’s history. Staff were attentive and welcoming, and the location is very convenient, a short walk from the station, cathedral and city centre. I enjoyed my stay and found it comfortable and stylish. For next time, I’d like more choice of wines, ideally fresher ones that haven’t been kept in the fridge too long. Table service would also improve the dining experience.
10/10
The breakfast was lovely, and the restaurant looked good, though we didn’t eat there. It’s a very nice hotel and good value, especially at the weekend. Just a two-minute walk from the station, which was really convenient.
